REGULATION OF THE MINISTER OF EMPLOYMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA NUMBER 7 OF 2025 ON THE AMENDMENT TO THE REGULATION OF THE MINISTER OF EMPLOYMENT NUMBER 20 OF 2022 ON THE GUIDANCE FOR THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS FOR MEMBERS OF THE GOVERNMENT’S WORKLOSS INSURANCE PROGRAM (PERMENAKER 7/2025)
SUMMARY:
- PERMENAKER 7/2025 was issued for the promulgation of Government Regulation Number 6 of 2025 concerning Amendments to Government Regulation Number 37 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of the Job Loss Insurance Program, it is necessary to adjust the guidelines for payment of contribution funds for participants in the job loss insurance program by the government.
- PERMENAKER 7/2025 amends several provisions in Permenaker Number 20/2022 related to the payment of contribution funds for participants in the Job Loss Insurance Program (JKP) by the government. The changes include the deletion of the definition in number 6 of Article 1, the determination of the amount of contributions paid by the government at 0.22% of wages, as well as the addition and adjustment of criteria for contribution recipient participants, including based on business scale.
- BPJS Ketenagakerjaan is given the responsibility to verify and validate participants and ensure the fulfillment of contribution payment requirements. Payment of contribution funds must be supported by complete documents and carried out in accordance with the budget mechanism, and technical guidelines are determined by the Director General.
OTHER PROVISIONS:
- This PERMENAKER 7/2025 shall come into force upon promulgation and shall be retroactive to February 7, 2025.
- This PERMENAKER 7/2025 is enacted on July 16, 2025.
- This PERMENAKER 7/2025 is promulgated on July 18, 2025.
- When PERMENAKER 7/2025 comes into force: Regulation of the Minister of Manpower Number 20 of 2022 concerning Guidelines for Payment of Contribution Funds for Participants in the Job Loss Insurance Program by the Government is still in effect.
