DECISION OF THE MINISTER OF LABOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA NUMBER 293 OF 2025 CONCERNING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF INDONESIAN NATIONAL WORK COMPETENCY STANDARDS FOR THE CATEGORY OF PROFESSIONAL, SCIENTIFIC, AND TECHNICAL ACTIVITIES IN THE FIELD OF VALIDATION AND VERIFICATION OF MITIGATION ACTIONS FOR CLIMATE CHANGE CONTROL IN THE ENERGY SECTOR (KEPMENAKER 293/2025)
SUMMARY:
- KEPMENAKER 293/2025 was established to implement the provisions of Article 31 of the Minister of Manpower Regulation Number 3 of 2016 concerning Procedures for Determining Indonesian National Work Competency Standards for the Category of Professional, Scientific and Technical Activities, Main Category of Other Professional, Scientific, and Technical Activities in the Field of Validation and Verification of Climate Change Mitigation Actions in the Energy Sector;
- KEPMENAKER 293/2025 stipulates the following:

- Indonesian National Work Competency Standards Category of Professional, Scientific, and Technical Activities Main Group of Other Professional, Scientific, and Technical Activities Field of Validation and Verification of Climate Change Mitigation Actions in the Energy Sector as listed in the Appendix, which is an integral part of this Ministerial Decree;
- The Indonesian National Work Competency Standards as referred to in the FIRST dictum serve as a reference in the development of national qualification levels, the implementation of education, training, and competency certification.
- The implementation of the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards as referred to in the FIRST dictum and the formulation of national qualification levels as referred to in the SECOND dictum shall be determined by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources and/or related technical ministries/institutions in accordance with their duties and functions.
- The Indonesian National Work Competency Standards as referred to in the FIRST dictum shall be reviewed every 5 (five) years or as necessary.

OTHER PROVISIONS:
- KEPMENAKER 293/2025 was enacted on August 19, 2025.
- KEPMENAKER 293/2025 came into effect on the date of enactment.
