DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF MANPOWER OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA NUMBER 258 OF 2025 CONCERNING THE STIPULATION OF THE INDONESIAN NATIONAL WORK COMPETENCY STANDARDS (SKKNI) FOR THE MINING AND QUARRYING CATEGORY, PRINCIPAL GROUP OF MINING SUPPORT SERVICE ACTIVITIES IN THE FIELD OF FLUID DRILLING, COMPLETION, AND WELL WORKOVER (KEPMENAKER 258/2025)
SUMMARY:
- KEPMENAKER 258/2025 was enacted to maintain the validity and reliability of the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI) for the mining and quarrying category, specifically the principal group of support service activities in the field of fluid drilling, well completion, and well workover.
- KEPMENAKER 258/2025 regulates the SKKNI for the mining and quarrying category, principal group of mining support service activities in fluid drilling, well completion, and well workover, concerning:

- Mapping of competency standards.
- List of competency units.
- Description of each competency unit, including: Unit code, Unit title, Unit description, Elements of competency and performance criteria, Range of variables, Assessment guidelines.
OTHER PROVISIONS:
- KEPMENAKER 258/2025 shall take effect as of the date of its enactment.
- KEPMENAKER 258/2025 was enacted on July 29, 2025.
- Upon the effective date of KEPMENAKER 258/2025, Ministerial Decree No. 194 of 2017 concerning the Stipulation of the Mining and Quarrying Principal Group for Petroleum, Natural Gas, and Geothermal Mining in the Field of Fluid Drilling, Completion, and Well Workover is hereby revoked and declared null and void.
