DECISION OF THE MINISTER OF FINANCE OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA NUMBER 37/KM. 4/2025 CONCERNING GOODS RESTRICTED FROM IMPORTATION BASED ON MINISTER OF TRADE REGULATION NUMBER 16 OF 2025 CONCERNING IMPORT POLICY AND REGULATIONS (KMK No. 37/KM.4/2025).

SUMMARY:

KMK No. 37/KM.4/2025 was issued based on Regulation of the Minister of Trade Number 16 of 2025 concerning Import Policies and Regulations (PERMENDAG 16/2025).

• KMK No. 37/KM.4/2025 stipulates:

1. 1. 1. To supervise restricted imported goods in accordance with PERMENDAG Number 16 of 2025;
      2. Restricted imported goods will be stipulated through a separate Ministerial Decree, separate from this decree;
      3. The import and export to and from Free Trade Zones and Free Ports (KPBPB), Bonded Warehouses (TPB), and Special Economic Zones (KEK) in accordance with applicable laws and regulations;
      4. With the enactment of this decree, Minister of Finance Decree No. 8 of 2024, Minister of Finance Decree No. 15 of 2024, and Minister of Finance Decree No. 17 of 2024 concerning import restrictions are revoked and declared invalid;
      5. This Ministerial Decree shall come into force on August 29, 2025. Copies of this Ministerial Decree shall be submitted to: the Minister of Finance; the Minister of Trade; the Head of the National Single Window Agency; the Directors at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise Headquarters; the Heads of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise Regional Offices; the Heads of the Main Customs and Excise Service Offices; and the Heads of the Customs and Excise Supervision and Service Offices.

 OTHER PROVISIONS:

• KMK No. 37/KM.4/2025 was enacted on August 19, 2025.
• KMK No. 37/KM.4/2025 came into effect on August 29, 2025.
