REGULATION OF THE MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS NUMBER 16 OF 2025 CONCERNING AMENDMENTS TO THE REGULATION OF THE MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS NUMBER 13 OF 2024 CONCERNING MONEY MARKET TRANSACTIONS
OVERVIEW:
- PADG No. 16/2025 was created to strengthen the effectiveness of monetary policy, deepen the money market, and strengthen the national financial system through the integration of mechanisms.matchmaking money market transactions.
- PADG No.16/2025 regulates about:
- Matchmaking in money market transactions is the process of matching supply and demand that occurs in the market (bid and ask) by market players, using methods determined by Bank Indonesia, such as;match price, mid price1 & 2, or other methods recognized in these regulations.
- Regulations regarding transaction times and the publication of daily transaction results reports, including a summary of the nominal value, tenor, method used, and average transaction volume, are introduced no later than 30 minutes after the transaction closes. This reporting is conducted transparently on the Bank Indonesia website.
- AppointmentOperator Matchmaking money market transactions, namely institutions that have received approval from Bank Indonesia to operate a supply and demand matching system in electronic money market transactions. This operator is responsible for facilitating the transaction process, submitting reports to Bank Indonesia, and ensuring the system is secure, transparent, and compliant with regulations.
OTHER PROVISIONS:
- PADG No. 16/2025 comes into force on the date of stipulation.
- PADG No.16/2025 was established on July 23, 2025.
- PADG No. 16/2025 is an amendment and complement to PADG No. 13 of 2024 concerning Money Market Transactions.
